Bloodstractor Defender
A game made for the October 2022 SodorJam. The theme was "Zelda Clone"
I tried to match the perspective of Link to the Past, and put my own spin on the "Defend the Barn" mission from Majora's Mask
CONTROLS
w, a, s, d - movement
spacebar - swing weapon
Help Natey defend the Factory's Bloodstractor from a horde of rogue robots. Survive the wave to win! (20 enemies total)

What happened to these robots, and why are they coming out of the vents? Who sent them? No time for questions - Those corporate bloodsuckers will have your carapace if you don't protect the bloodstractor from being destroyed!

Amazing work, love the sprites and especially the attack animation. Definitely took a few tries with the onslaught of robots to defend the bloodstractor, great game. Now why Natey - a self described "nonvampire" - needs a bloodstractor in his factory... OSHA inspectors might have some questions.

Thank you for the kind words re: the art as well! It was the first time implementing my own animations so I'm really happy with how many I was able to pack in given the time constraints.
YO !!!! This was so much fun!!! The pixel art was stunning as always! The knockback was a really nice mechanic and boy howdy was I sweating trying to defend the bloodstractor LOL A little difficult but once I got the hang of it, I was able to succeed B^) Excellent work !!!! I really enjoyed it!!

Yooo, I really enjoyed this! It really scratches the tower defender itch. The sprite work and overall look is RAD (but of course, considering it's nateycakes). Everything worked smoothly! Well done.
